Dyslexia Simulation at Marburn Academy

The Dyslexia Simulation Experience:
On April 8 at 6pm Sensible Learning will be presenting a Dyslexia Simulation Experience in coordination with Marburn Academy.
Whether you are a community member, parent, or educator, this two-hour, hands-on presentation will introduce you to the basics of dyslexia and how it could be interfering with reading, writing and spelling for 10-20% of the general population. This presentation, will lead you to feel the anxiety, frustration, and pressures that someone with dyslexia may experience every day. Then, learn the facts and where to find reliable resources to help you debunk the common myths surrounding this language-based learning difference.

OGA Associate-Level Training at Marburn Academy
Through shared expertise, in partnership between Marburn Academy and Sensible Learning this 70-hour training provides a foundation in structured, multisensory language instruction. Designed to prepare educators for effective one-to-one or small group instruction, the course blends Orton-Gillingham Academy’s (OGA) principles with current research-based practices to equip you with strategies that support students who learn differently.
